The Float Lab project at the Port of Oakland is completed. It was a 10′ by 15′ floating laboratory that was placed in the water near Shoreline Park at the Port of Oakland. It was a five year project with the intent of providing a marine life habit as well as exploring less obtrusive alternatives to the current breakwater structures that are used to combat waves and rising waters.
The float lab has been moved to Treasure Island to continue its research.
